Hackney Wick Engagement shoot

Choosing the perfect location for your engagement photos can be a task. However my couple Beth and Michael suggested Hackney Wick in east London for their engagement shoot, an area that I was very familiar with. The day was amazing, the weather was sunny and the couple were lovely together.

The atmosphere of the shoot was amazing, my couple really bounced off each other and shared so many laughs. We met up outside Hackney wick station and walked around capturing some fun, intimate, and relaxed photos. I like to be creative during my engagement shoots and I’m always on the look out for unique opportunities. The rustic and industrial feel of the area provided us with some great backdrops, like the bold red perforated steel staircase, and the rustic Corten steel on White post lane created some stunning results. We also made time to pop into Victoria park for a quick change of scenery and capture some beautiful photos !

Beth and Michael are getting married later this summer at the wonderful Clapton Town Hall, and I am super excited to be a Clapton town Hall wedding photographer for the first time. If you want to follow their story keep an eye on the my blog posts. You can also follow my recent photoshoots on Instagram.
