Nancarrow Wedding

The Nancarrow Farm Wedding venue is one of my favourite spots in Cornwall to visit, and photograph. Harriet and Don booked me as their wedding photographer, and as soon as you arrive at Nancarrow, you just know the day is going to be great. I’ve been so excited for this wedding since sitting down with Harriet and Don and hearing all about their plans. The couple loved my documentary approach to wedding photography, and wanted their wedding photos to capture the atmosphere, the humour, and all the canid moments the couple may have missed during the day.

I had the most incredible and memorable start to their wedding coverage. The morning started with me waking up at 7:30am and driving up to St Agnes to meet Don, his groomsmen for a quick dip in the freezing cold Cornish sea! Bear in mind it is May, and that water does bite. I love capturing these moments and stories, a wedding day isn’t just about photographing the main moments, instead I see the say as a story, with a beginning, middle and end. I knew I had to join them in the morning and capture the action as they ran towards the sea screaming.  

The day then followed by morning preparations at Nancarrow farm, and a beautiful wedding ceremony inside the A-frame wooden barn. Below you will see a small selection of my favourite moments from the morning.
