Candid Wedding Photographer
Candid Wedding Photography That Tells Your Story
As a London candid wedding photographer, I’ve always seen weddings as an opportunity to capture people and moments as they really happen. The best moments are never staged-they come from natural interactions, unfolding in their own time.
Candid doesn’t mean unflattering or chaotic — quite the opposite. My aim is to create images that feel both natural and considered, capturing honest moments in a way that still feels beautiful and refined. The result is a gallery that not only documents your day, but brings you back to how it felt.
This approach is closely linked to a documentary approach to wedding photography, where the focus is on observing rather than directing — capturing the day as it naturally unfolds.
What Candid Photography looks like
I won’t whisk you away from your guests for endless photo sessions in multiple locations. My focus is on capturing you immersed in your wedding—surrounded by the people who matter most. Your memories shouldn’t revolve around your photographer, but around the love and connection shared on the day.
That’s why I keep any time away for portraits short and intentional—around 15—usually when the light is at its best. Depending on the season or weather, that might be during your drinks reception or just before the dance floor kicks off.
Wedding portraits don’t need to feel staged. I use natural light and the setting you’ve chosen to create relaxed, authentic images—true to you. It’s candid wedding photography at its best: real moments, beautifully captured.
