Hadsham Farm Wedding | Laura & Corey

A Hadsham Farm wedding in Oxfordshire is always something special, but Laura and Corey’s autumn celebration was on another level. With perfect weather, a lakeside tipi setup, and a full day filled with energy, emotion, and fun, this was a wedding that reflected everything I love about documentary wedding photography-real moments, real people, and a story that unfolded naturally from beginning to end.

As a Hadsham Farm wedding photographer, it’s always a joy to return to this incredible venue near Banbury. The combination of open countryside, the lake views, and the relaxed festival-style atmosphere makes it one of the most unique wedding venues in Oxfordshire.

Laura and Corey began their wedding day at Feldon Valley in Sutton Lane, a peaceful setting surrounded by trees and countryside views near a golf course. The cabins tucked into the landscape created a calm and intimate atmosphere for the morning preparations. These quieter moments are always an important part of the story for me as a documentary wedding photographer.

The ceremony took place outdoors at Hadsham Farm, overlooking the lake, with guests gathered under clear autumn skies. The setting alone was stunning, but what made this ceremony so memorable was how personal and interactive it felt.

Laura and Corey chose a humanist ceremony filled with emotion, including a surprise reading from Laura to Corey that created one of the most heartfelt moments of the day.

One of the most unique elements was a fun interactive Q&A game with guests. Circular cards featuring Laura and Corey’s faces were handed out, and guests were asked questions about the couple. They would hold up either Laura or Corey depending on who they thought the answer referred to, a simple idea that created a lot of laughter, energy, and connection during the ceremony.

Before the speeches, the couple surprised everyone with a round of bingo — a brilliant way to bring everyone together and set a fun tone for the rest of the day. With unexpected prizes like a blow-up banana, the energy in the room was incredible and completely reflected Laura and Corey’s personalities.

This part of the day is always full of storytelling opportunities as a wedding photographer at Hadsham Farm. People relax, conversations flow, and genuine moments happen naturally without interruption.
